St. Mary Catholic Church in Pella is exploring a possible building expansion due to an increase in membership, a growing Faith Formation program and a shortage of parking space. Bishop Walsh of the Diocese of Davenport has given permission to proceed with planning and a Town Hall meeting (March 1 & 2, 2025) was recently held to communicate this important step forward with parishioners. This meeting was led by our pastor Father Joseph and the building committee. Parishioners shared their feedback regarding the possible expansion and the committee is currently reviewing the feedback and compiling answers to their questions.
